We were founded in 1985, when Ron Raymond, Sr., a well known local mechanic and car salesman, and owner of Ron's Auto, decided to get out into the fresh air and try his hand in excavating. He bought a backhoe, a bulldozer, and was on his way.

Today, we have more equipment, trucks, and experience and have branched into all types of excavation work - but our mission of providing honest family-owned service remains the same. Since working for the business as teenagers, Ron's two sons, Paul and Ron Jr., have since joined him as co-owners, after both graduating from the University of Connecticut.
